- Thought I was doing ok until recently and something posted on social media resulted in numerous people wanting me to,call them some I haven't seen in over 35 years then I realized I wasn't ok.
- About my Loss:
- I lost my Mom six months ago and she was my best friend and we were always there for each other. She thank God she progressed rapidly over a weekend and succumb to Alzheimer's. She didn't like being dependent on anyone for anything. I guess that's where I got it from as well.

Two in one day
I had some warning with Moms death but not with my first and oldest dog. He died in Mom,s arms four hours before she left this world. I knew he would be dying as he was old but didn't expect him to die the same day as Mom. He was his usual self in the morning and when I went to feed him two hours later he was unresponsive.it was Mom wish to die at home with her two "boys" next to her, and that is exactly what she had. Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
