About Me:
I'm a mother of 4 and Nana to one beautiful little girl. I enjoy spending time with loved ones and my pooch Milo. I love digging in the dirt planting flowers and veggies. I've been married for 20 years and my mom was my best friend in the whole world.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom 10 years ago in Jan. it is still the hardest month of the year for me as it was her birth month also. I'd like to just sleep through the whole thing. My mom battled breast cancer for 5 years and when it went to her liver she lost the battle. I have been planning a memorial tattoo for years but wanted it to be something I felt was meaningful and personal. I miss you MOM

I just had this tattoo done yesterday so it is very fresh but I love it already. Everyone tried to talk me out of getting it on my foot due to the pain but for all the pain my mom endured going through chemo and just the pain in the end with her liver it was really nothing. She was in the my thoughts the whole time. I was so worth it.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
