Grandma sewing room
So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More

Hi Lauri, I am so very sorry you are on this journey with us. I lost my husband of 34 years to Melanoma as well, in 2011. It happened so fast! I with there were stronger words to offer you than these.... You will get through today, and tomorrow. One second at a time at times. You will get used to this new normal that none of us asked for, or prepare for. Find a way to honor YOUR life each day, just as he would if he were here. Time does not heal this pain, but it does make it a much more gentle feeling than you are in right now. Gentle caring hugs from me to you.
