- My husband of 13 years died in an atv accident in 2014. It was so sudden and I was only 38 so I was quite young. Having a hard time finding anyone my age who has been through similar trauma.

New to this site but wanted to leave a message. I lost my husband of 13 years about a year and a half ago at in an atv accident. Being a 40 year old widow seems so weird and movie of the week, you know? My life has changed so much. I moved back to Colorado to be near family. (Which is good) but things are so lonely. Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
