Profile Information

About Me:
I am a military wife. I use to say I had the perfect life. A wonderful husband of 24 years and two great kids in college. I grew up in Petaluma, CA but have spent over half my life moving about every 4 years to another duty station. I looked forward to the adventures.
About my Loss:
I lost my beautiful daughter Missy on January 3, 2012. She turned 21 in September. Missy spent Christmas holidays with us in California and had just returned back to her college life in Anchorage, Alaska. She was studying to be a nurse. Missy is an amazing girl, so full of life. She was born with a heart defect and had surgery when she was three. Marisa was quirky and always left you with a smile. Just recently I could see my daughter has grown within herself into a beautiful young woman.

It is Then You Hear The Hush

Because we are military family and my daughter was away at college we had three services for her in different states.  Alaska -where she was attended college and lived for 7 years; Pennsylvania –my husband’s home town, where Missy was born and lived for 5 years:  and finally California – my home town and were we currently reside. My beautiful daughter touched many lives and was well loved. There was an unexpectedly large turnout at each of the services including family, friends, and…

thank you ,your child is just beautiful as well , and your much nicer then i am i have lost my manners my faith, when people say remember God does not give you anything you can't carry or handle , i say  well if he does exist and i doubt that he just did and for no reason not one reason anyone could up with that would justify my child being gone at the very start of her life , especially when everywhere i go i see  people whom are a waste of space really gang banging , robbing , killing  , or elderly  people whom cant even remember their own names .  i view  the entire world now in a different way i was always kind and giving  never judgmental now im just bitter angry and think really ?? why ?? does it get more unfair then this ?? she had aspirations , dreams , hopes , she was one of the few things in my life that brought me true joy ...im sure you know what i mean i cant believe this is me anymore i cant believe shes gone, my thoughts are with you as well , take care .

I am so sorry for your loss.  I am dealing with the loss of a young woman as well.  It has been a nightmare.  I miss her everyday.  It seems so unfair that someone in the prime of their life is taken.  My thoughts are with you.  I'd say "prayers", but my faith is so shaken.

Please take care of yourself,

Branodn
