Welcome to Online Grief Support~a mother's death is very difficult to take not matter what age you are. I lost my husband on December 3, 2010 and am still in the raw pain grief stage. It's difficult. You need to rely on other's who share your grief and pain and understand what you are going through. Everyone grieves in a different way. Please don't let people tell you your mother would've wanted you to be happy and move on. That's not how the grief process works. I'm tired of my friends telling me, "Your husband is in a better place. He's not suffering anymore,"....................well I'm not in a good place and I'm suffering. You have to take it one day at a time. There is a lot of good support on this site. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help.
