Michelle, I lost my dad yrs ago anf thought that was the worse grief I would ever know. But then my 22 yr old son was shot and killed and I realized I had no idea what this horror was all about. I of my brothers, only me left and I take care of our 85 yr old mom. It breaks my heart to look into her eyes every day and see the empitiness and hurt there. Machelle.. I am right where u are. My dad died july 31 and my husband aug 9.. I have an 11 yr old son and I feel like there is a gaping hole in my heart. Some days are worse than others.

I told my mother today that I wasn't sure about the phrase " God won't give you any more than you can handle" Sometimes I wonder. But I am here for anyone that wants to talk about what is going on - I have found that just sharing and talking helps to take the sting away.
