corinne I feel your pain as I do my very own , my support system is very small as well her parents are both dead and so I cannot turn to them for comfort . My own parents are understanding and yet really we dont bring it up at all for no particular reason I guess we just dont want to speak about it. My children are too busy with their lives to care and the girls who cherrie was their biological mom were taken away. I dont know what type of support you have I hope it is more than my own but if not I want you to know that we need to support one another and help each other through the tough times and the pain.
