About my Loss:
I lost my mother on May 2, 2010 to a severe brain anerysm that happened on April 30. I am 31, have a 33 yr old sister who refuses to talk about anything and a father that has started dating already. They were married for 41 years and got married the day my dad graduated from the Naval Academy.
Im having a hard time with the fact he even wants to be with another person and share his life with someone. My sister refuses to talk about it still. So our family is kind of non-exisent.
Leslie, I do find this site comforting most of the time. With all the sadness though sometimes I have to take a break from it. I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. I lost my 20 year old daughter Kasey. I'm not comparing Kasey's on again off again 5 year relationship with your parents 41 years of marriage. But it does hurt me to see her boyfriend moving on so quickly. His profile picture is now him kissing his new girlfriend. That is one of the toughest thing about this grief, watching life go on without our loved one. My sympathies, Sandy
