Hi Eva, Ist my husband of 25 years to brain cancer on Dec. 22, 2010. I had 17 months with him after diagnosis and for that I am very thankful. It must have been very difficult for you to lose your husband so quickly.

I think about my husband constantly and feel him with me as well. I am trying to live my life doing the things we wanted to do together. He retired on 8/14/09 and I took him to the hospital on 08/15/09 and they found the brain tumor. Our plan was to fix up our home and move to the Gettysburg Pa area. We loved it there. While he was ill we started the renovation. After he passed I continued it. It will be done this week and I will list the house and continue the dream. It won't be the same, but I have to keep going. I find the busier I am the better.

Hi Eva, This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. I was with Harry 31 years and was always dreading this might happen. It seems to go on and on. I do find that if I talk about him it helps. I think it sometimes throws people that I do, but he was the biggest part of my life for a very long time and I just won't stop talking about him because he is gone. I feel him with me everyday and know that someday we will meet again. I hope you find a way to work toward some happiness again. I am trying very hard, but I think it will take a long time. Hang in there, it has to get better at some point. I pray it does.
