About Me:
I work as a case manager for a non-profit organization and am 57. I have 27 year old twin sons and my daughter 38. I also have 5 grandchildren.
About my Loss:
My daughter had surgeries and became dependent on prescription drugs during a period of 14 years. Long story short, she was found on the floor of a motel room she was staying at for the weekend with another mother and her children. My 4 year old granddaughter found her. This was April 13th, 2014. She had no insurance and so I spent the last two weeks raising enough money to bury her and have a viewing for her children because they wanted to say goodbye. Now that everyone has gone home and I am alone, this is hitting me so hard. I miss her so much...

    I am so sorry you have had to come here.  Your daughter is beautiful and your loss is so new.  My heart knows what you are feeling as do most of us on here.  I hope you will have support from family and friends and also here.  It's a rough journey.  Allow yourself to grieve and get through each day as it comes.  
    I also lost my son to a prescription medication, but he had other problems as well.  He had just turned 41.  I am going on 4 years and it has gotten to where I have kinder and gentler days but it takes time.
    I pray you are given strength and compassion as you work through this.
