34, graphic designer, searching for myself, whoever that may be...
I am a very kind and gentle person, with a very big heart and I can't help giving to anyone and everyone. Sometimes, this turns out to hurt me in the end, but I'd never give up my compassion and empathy.
I am divorced and single. I have no children, but I do have a dog who I adore. Her name is Punky and she's a pitbull.
About my Loss:
2011: My beloved Mamabear, lost to breast cancer at 65 years old. She lived 13 months after diagnosis.
2012: My beloved brother and only sibling, Chris, lost to colon cancer at 33 years old. He was diagnosed and given 6 weeks to live, he lived 5.
My dad and only family member left is still living, but is suffering from dementia and MS.
I've also had 2 other significant deaths in the last 5 years, and the loss of a long term relationship. Too much loss!
My name is Brenda and I also am born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. I would love to be your friend and be your family. I notice that you don't say to much on here. Maybe that is because you don't want the world to know your thoughts or give their opinion. If you accept someone's friend request, then you can Private Message them or "Send a Message"....... This is much like email but it within the www.onlinegriefsupport.com system.
I will be in Cincinnati between Aug 12 and 28th 2014 - may be we could have lunch somewhere - Skyline?
I am so sorry that you are experiencing the loss of not one, but several precious people in your life.
I am part of a research team at Saint Louis University that is conducting a research project about how families communicate about making medical decisions for loved ones at the end-of-life.
I have read a bit about your losses and I'm interested in hearing more of your story. If this is something you would be comfortable with, please email me at cgibso10@slu.edu.
