I never thought that I would be a widow in my forties. My friends can't relate and feel the need to comment on everything, even if they have no experience with grief. I know they mean well but only we know what we are going though.
It seems no matter your age or how many years you have with your spouse, it stills seems like its not enough! My husband was diagnosed with Lymphoma the day before his 44th birthday and died 3 months before his 45th birthday. I am blessed to have been married to him for almost 26 years.
I would like to "talk" with other widows who are ready to move into dating and hear their stories/fears, etc.
