Don't grieve alone; 14,000 members and growing
Hello, this is my first attempt at posting in the chat room. I am 59 years old. I am disabled, having had 17 surgeries in 14 years. I still face a variety of daunting medical issues. My wife died suddenly, nearly three months ago.
I am a Presidential Historian. I have written and lectured on the presidents, extensively, in my local area. Ironically, my wife died, while she was working on a 3-D puzzle of the White House for me. I had gone to a meeting, and when I returned, I found her.

Thank you. I will try that. I was, also, thinking about doing an article on the presidents, who lost their wives. There were 15, altogether. Maybe, if I can ascertain, how they coped, it would help me. I've been re-watching the 1953 movie 'The President's Lady' starring Charlton Heston and Susan Hayward, as Andrew and Rachel Jackson. Jackson, always, blamed his political opponents, for his wife's death, due to the scandalmongering, dirty mudslinging, that had occurred during his 1828 campaign.
I'm just starting research on the presidents' who have lost their wives. Seven months ago, I did an article about Vice-Presidents who lost children, while they were in office (like Joe Biden's son, who died, the end of May 2015.
