Don't grieve alone; 14,000 members and growing
In less than twelve months I have lost my mother, grandfather, performed cpr on a friend's father who died in my hands. I recently graduated the police academy and was looking forward to rejoining my wife in Denton where we had decided to make a new start. I was greeted with her request for a divorce. Now I find myself almost back where I started with this whole process. People tell me to get back out there and do things and that things could always be worse but I dread to think what else could happen. Any prayers would be appreciated.

Ive learned that "People" that have never ever been through something this horrible never give the best advice, nor do I ever like to listen to them...even though I know they are just trying to help. ...I wont sugar coat it.... It sucks. I personally know this. Nothing is fair about this experience. Yes, time does help a little and as the days pass, you learn to start moving and going on with life, but that doesn't mean it gets easier...it means your learning how to deal. I`m so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandfather and your friend`s father. You have to dig deep and find your inner strength to keep moving. Its of course easier said than done. Hang in there. Sending positive vibes your way.
