Don't grieve alone; 14,000 members and growing
I miss being able to pick up the phone and talk to you, Mom. As I went through a box of your things today, I found your jewelry. Many pieces are ones that I gave you for different occasions and each one brought back such precious memories of times we shared. I'm trying so hard to hold on to those memories; the good times. It's just that this hole in my heart feels so big right now. In our last conversation, you told me of the dream you had the night before where Grandma came to you and held out her hand. You took her hand and walked with her. You said how disappointed you were that you had to wake up from that beautiful dream. At that moment, I knew that it wouldn't be long before you went home. I just didn't think it would be the very next day. My consolation in your passing is that you're no longer suffering your earthly pain. I know you're at peace now. And I still feel your love. Thank you for being such a magnificent mother and a faithful friend.
