- I recently found out that the abusive man I was told was my father wasn't. celebrating that one but on the same day I was told an extremely nice man that I never met was my father but he is deceased. I don't know why this bothers me so much. maybe the lies, what I endured, the questions I can never have answered maybe all. I just seem to break down anytime it comes up
