About Me:
I am all alone struggling as a handicapped person to take care of my handicapped toddler.
About my Loss:
My Mom was held in Iran against her will by the government. Just before she was to be released she became suddenly deathly ill in a matter of hours and died. Her body was not allowed to be brought to USA and no autopsy was allowed. Since they took my USA passport I left ill with our ill toddler ahead of my husband & Mom on Iranian passports. I had to become an Iranian to leave there.

After my Moms death, which we believe was not natural, they were keeping my husband there too. He crossed into Turkey in a dangerous attempt to reunite with us. I was in a wheelchair and just had my Mom in USA. Our toddler is traumatized as he lost Mom and my husband. Immigration wont let my husband come to us without a cosponsor and we have no one. I only left to be able to seek help from the US embassy and I would not have returned if I knew I would lose my Mom and my husband. She would have cosponsored him. I had been in a wheelchair 15 years before we went overseas. I am still learning how to leave the house and I need my husband. I can't believe they are not doing anything about my Mom and I couldn't even attend her funeral. MY AMERICAN MOM IS BURIED IN IRAN.

I started a petition and with all the grief and horror we went through just one person signed it. I never needed or asked for anything from anyone before and I was always helping others. I just can't believe how hard people can be to ignore this situation.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
