About Me:
Hi. My name is Ann. I'm 14 and I like to play sports. I'm in highschool.
About my Loss:
I don't have a loss but I have thought about suicide a few times. I'm unhappy. I'm unhappy because I'm having trouble with school. My grades are low and I can't pull them up even though I do all my work. It's stressful and I don't think I'll graduate and get my dream job. I can't take it anymore

Stress is getting to me

School is hard. I can't get my grades up. I'm losing intrest in trying anymore. I feel that I wont graduate or get my dream job. It's so stressful I feel that theres no point trying. I have nothing to look forward to in life if I never graduate. I feel like commiting suicide so I don't have to put up with it anymore.

Ann,
I am so happy to hear from you. Are you a freshman? Please tell me why school is so hard right now. What sports do you participate in? Swimming? Sorry for all the questions...
Are you comfortable talking to your mom or dad?
I think your dream job is very attainable; try to see high school as challenging and not stressful. Meet with your teachers in the classes you find most challenging and request their help on how to succeed (pass) the class.

Most importantly, take care of yourself. Again, suicide is not the answer. Diana gave you some very good advice...please call.
Sincerely,
Laura

Ann,
Please talk to someone...suicide is not the answer. LIfe is too precious. Talk to us. What is stressing you so much? Maybe we can help you through this difficult time. Or seek out a trusted adult in your life-mom, dad, aunt, a favorite teacher, the school counselor? Please let us know how you are doing. Let us know how we can help.
What is your dream job?
Laura

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
