About Me:
I'm a busy person. I work full time as a fundraiser for a nonprofit in Los Angeles, I'm married to a wonderful man, and I started doing stand up comedy about two and a half years ago.
About my Loss:
I experienced four losses within three months. First, I lost my darling bunny, who was 13. She was my heart - we had such a connection. Then a month later, I lost my friend who was also my 6th grade teacher, so many years ago, she was 92. Then, about a month later, we lost my mother in law, back in Florida. She was the greatest woman alive, pretty much, and had welcomed me into her family whole heartedly about 25 years ago, and treated me as one of her own. Then 10 days later, we lost my dad. The three people all had cancers. Dad and my mother in law both went very very fast.

I’ve been living with grief for a while now, and some days it’s quiet, some days it hits out of nowhere.Lately I’ve been watching movies about loss and grief - not to make myself sad on purpose, but to feel understood. Sometimes seeing grief on screen helps when it’s hard to explain what’s going on inside. The problem is that many “grief movie lists” online feel very surface-level or overly dramatic,…See More
