Profile Information

About Me:
I am in pursuit of a Master's Degree in Counseling and plan on furthering my education to get a Doctorate degree. I write vchildren's books and run anti-bullying,self-esteem and diversity programs for all ages. Bullying can be associated with grief in many different ways. I am also continually mourning my grandmother who I lost as a child and want to help others coping as well.
About my Loss:
My grandmother when I was in the fifth grade.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
