About Me:
I am a stay at home mom of three great little boys ranging in age from three years old to one month old. My oldest will be in school come Tuesday. My husband is in between jobs due to what has happened in the family this past week. I have one sister and a brother, lots of nephews and just two neices.
About my Loss:
On Thrusday August 21 2008 my oldest Sister Tonya Jean Yantz was murdered by her husband. She left behind two wonderful little boys ages 10 and 12. It has been over a week and I feel like what I should have felt in the beginning of all of this. The only way I can "function" is by being so medicated that I am a zobie. When I don't take the medicine the hurt is too great for me to deal with. All I have inside of me is so much anger, that it scares me. I have never felt like this before.

Hi Susie,
My brother was murdered in 2001 by his best friend and I have still not completely healed. I don't think I ever will. Murder is very hard to grasp. I will never understand it. I have definitely improved and yes I was on meds as well for a long time. I understand the anger. I have that as well, especially since the guy is still walking around in society. If you ever need to talk, just message me. It's a long and hard road, I know, but maybe I can help. It helps to talk about it and to talk about it to someone that actually cares. I'm here for you.

"GriefShare is a church based support group. They do have meetings online, but the usual format is a group of people experiencing a loss getting together weekly to watch videos (13 weeks total) about grief and loss. After the video, we talk about the…"

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
