- 6 months ago I tragically and suddenly lost the love of my life to an accidental heroin overdose. It came a massive shock when I woke up to go to work one morning and found him dead. Through our entire relationship he fought the battle of alcohol addiction but I never thought he had turned to hard drugs. I knew he would use prescription drugs occasionally but didn't know it had turned into something bigger. There are so many unknowns about his death and it has left me broken and empty. I feel so much guilt for not being able to save him. He was was an unbelievable man and it hurts me to much to know that his incredible life was ended by something like this.
