About Me:
My name is Ruby and I'm a 29 years old. I'm married to Gary and together we have 3 dogs....We reside in Florida
About my Loss:
On December 11th I lost my father unexpectedly to a massive heart attack. He had come from Alabama on December 10th to visit me in my new home in Crestview, FL. While visiting he complained that he felt he pulled a muscle or perhaps even broke a rib...I encouraged him to go to the doctor but he kept saying if it doesn't get any better that he would. After doing some Christmas shopping and buying him lunch he wanted to go back to my house to nap. His color didn't look right after we were home for awhile so I told him that he could be angry at me but we were going to the er. At the ER they told us it was a heart attack and that he would have to be life flighted to another hospital. I walked his stretcher to the heloicopter and because i couldn't reach him to kiss him I kissed my hand and touched his forehead and told him that I loved him and would see him when he got outof surgery. Unfortunately it was not to be because he died in the cath lab at the second hospital. I wasn't there when he woke up but I sure hope he had hands of angels helping him along the way.

I miss you so much Dad!

I lost my dad on December 11th very unexpectedly to a massive heart attack. He was my heart. He came to visit me in my new home on the 10th and on the 11th we did some shopping and I bough him lunch. He had complained of a pulled musle or perhaps a broken rib but didn't want to go to the doctor because he didn't feel it was bad enough but would go if the pain got worse. After lunch he wanted a nap, when he was getting ready to nap I noticed his color was off and I told him that he would just… Continue

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
