If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost. Losing someone any of these ways is not natural and can be hard to understand and ask why? I lost my Mother to an overdose 9 years ago. She also suffered from major depression. Rose Thankyou so much for your response to me. It is so comforting to hear that you feel the same. I am so sorry you had to go through those years of your husbands I'll health. I was lucky in that mine was fit and healthy and we enjoyed several years travelling together until his sudden unexpected death which was an enormous shock. I just can't imagine living the next 20 yrs without him. I'm going to bed now and know I'll wake up devastated all over again in the morning.
