Profile Information

About Me:
I am 56, I have a daughter and granddaughter. I have 3 sisters, and 3 brothers, both my parents have past on. I just moved back to my hometown, from a big city.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband Jim, May 27, 2016. He was diabetic, he was dialysis, he was waiting for a kidney transplant. In order to get the transplant he had to have heart surgery, he was there for 3months, he came home May 1st, he was doing good. Then one night he had a low sugar attack, I tried to help, but he could not breath, called 911, for help, he started to turn purple, they told me to put him on the floor, to give him CPR, but no matter what I did it didn’t help. He died right before my eyes. Then my whole world fell apart.

Speed Weasel commented on Speed Weasel's blog post A Return to GriefShare and a Crisis of Identity
"GriefShare is a church based support group. They do have meetings online, but the usual format is a group of people experiencing a loss getting together weekly to watch videos (13 weeks total) about grief and loss. After the video, we talk about the…"
