About Me:: I am married mother of 3 other children. I work part-time as an Animal Care Technician, which has helped to keep me 'sane'. I live in rural Colorado.

About my Loss:: I lost my first-born, only son (Nathan)in a head-on car accident on July 31, 2011. He passed away 3 hours after the collision, from multiple blunt force trauma to his head and upper body. I wasn't notified about the accident until 3 hours after he had passed.

It's not easy, but there are days that are a little better, but not a day that he is not thought about and missed. This is our life now. I hope you will join in on the board. It may help some.

I sometimes will go long periods without posting, but I try and keep up with the comments.

I wish we could have met under different circumstances. We are like relatives that never met before. We are now members of the Grief family.
