About Me:
I love my family, vacationing, and playing sports
About my Loss:
When I was in the 4th grade I came home from school and found my mom dead at the kitchen table. She passed from septicemia. My father did the absolute best he could for my twin brother and myself but he always had to work. Thankfully my Granny (mom's mom) stepped up and was that positive female role model I needed but now she's gone also. My mom's sister would always make promises to me (like she'd take me out to lunch or shop or let me stay the night with her) and then always have some excuse why she couldn't do it. When that happened it made me feel like I wasn't loved and helped me to put up a wall so I wouldn't let anyone in and hurt me anymore. Unfortunately I'm now almost 38 and have not had many serious relationships because I'm terrified of being hurt.

"GriefShare is a church based support group. They do have meetings online, but the usual format is a group of people experiencing a loss getting together weekly to watch videos (13 weeks total) about grief and loss. After the video, we talk about the…"
