- Widowed at 40. 2 kids my youngest Autistic.
Since being widowed I returned to school to become a Massage therapist and studied Chinese medicine. I've learned some tools to get thru grief, anger, depression. Accupressure got me off the depressants. Mostly good days.

- It's been 7 yrs since my husbands accident - he was in a coma for 9months before he passed.
I got engaged earlier this year to a marine ....he committed suicide 5 months into our engagement.

Pennies from heaven or no?
I use to tell this story before my husband died.
I was visiting a friend and her young sons parakeet passed away while we were there. He was so upset. I told him a story about "pennies from heaven" and every time you find a penny it's from your parakeet who has joined your grandpa in heaven. His little face lit up and he said "they're togther?" I told him he would soon find a penny and he would know they were saying hello

Ugh
It's bad enough I have to stay on this earth after my husband is gone......then I think I found someone again and he takes his own life.
It just seems that men over 40 and after divorce just don't want a relationship and they're perfectly comfortable leading women on to believe they do just to get what they want.
I really thought time would make it easier and I could be happy again.
Time does not heal anything

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. So sorry for your loss Melanie, loosing oe loved one is hell, thinking you have found someone and then to loose them I can't comprehend and won't try to. Lost my mother few months ago just found out father has cancer don't think I can take anymore bad news this year.
