Thankyou for your request to be friends Marlene. I'm Very Sorry to read about the Loss of your Fiance. I hope you have a Good Friend as I do, who lost her Father 3 months before I lost mine to Cancer. It's taken me almost 2 years of ALOT of Grieving Alone, but I'm finally feeling better, knowing that my Dad's no longer Suffering as Much as he did in Silence and Hopefully there is a Heaven and an Afterlife, as my Faith was Shaken to say the very least, having Lost Dorothy, "me adopted second mum" 8 months later preceeded by my uncle also named Ed and then my aunt Jean who passed 1 year after him. May GOD Bring you Comfort. Let Your Feelings Flow and Then Let Them Go. "One Day at A Time."

I'm sorry for your loss Marlene. I understand about feeling alone. I lost my fiance 6 wks ago and have no idea how I've made it this far. I give all the credit to God, my fiance, and the divine because there is no other explanation for how I've managed to hold on and my kids need me. Just hang on and take it a day at a time, that's all we can do.

Marlene, I am sorry for the loss of your fiance. And i can relate to your loss and how "lost we feel".  I dont know how to do live on life my husband? how, what, where?. And it seems to get harder as time passes by instead of easier. It is real hard to get use to a new routine without your loved one. Trust me, I understand your feelings. I am here if you want to chat or message me. Take Care.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
