About Me:
I am in my 50's have no children, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Sold my businesses to spend 24/7 with my husband. Love life and love my friends.
About my Loss:
My husband Tino died of a sudden stroke on August 7th 2009. This is the day that my life changed and the happiness that I had came to a screeching stop. The pain of this seems overwhelming at this time and I feel so lonely and life is so quiet without this wonderful person in it. He was so much a part of everything and surrounded me with so much love and took care of my emotions. We were the best team in everything. I miss him every minute.

Lori I tried to reply to your comment but for some reason the reply to link was not there. I will try and think like you and try to only focus on the all the good times we spent together and all the good times we had. Thankfully we both have wonderful memories forever to remember. I guess I've just been feeling selfish, instead of focusing on all the good we had I'm just focusing on what I don't have anymore. Hopefully I'm getting my car back tomorrow so I can make an appt. for counseling and can finally get into some grief support groups. Lots of Hugs to you. And thanks so much for your thoughts.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
