About Me:
I'm really into sports mostly volleyball, i love being outdoors whether that is playing beach or just got to the lake for the weekend. My family and friends are a big part of my life. I'm fun and easy to get along with and i dont hold grudges.
About my Loss:
I have lost a few family members to cancer but the one person i recently lost (Jan.21/10) was not only my auntie but my best friend. 5 years ago she was diganosed with lupus and 8 months ago found out she had breast cancer in both breasts. She fought it but then christmas eve it came back and they found a tumor in her brain. The doctors told us that there is no medical reason to why she is still alive but she kept fighting until Jan.21. That was the day i lost her. Its been a hard month because not only did i loose her but she will not be there when i graduate in june....she will forever be in my heart<3

Hi Laken-
I am sorry to hear about your loss. Cancer is such a vicious diesease. I lost my mom the day after you lost your friend on Jan 22 and like you, it has been a rough month. My mom is/was my best friend. It hurts so bad. I am sorry your friend is going to miss your graduation :( Hugs ((((()))) K

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
