About my Loss:
My sweet Little Miss Kitty just went to Heaven. Two years ago she had a stroke, which left her disabled. However, she has the most amazing spirit and treated it like she had just become a princess. I fed her every meal, and she couldn't walk, so I carried her everywhere. The incident somehow caused her to think she could talk, so she'd try to talk to everyone. She loved everyone. And she purred endlessly when I held her, kissed her or fed her her favorite foods. This continued for just over two years. I was used to it, and her health was back to normal, she was just disabled. Then, quiet quickly, she passed. No pain. She just went to a deeper and deeper sleep, still responding if I tried to get her to. She was in my arms when she took her last breath, before the vet could really open and know what was happening. I think she simply passed of old age, a true miracle. I feel amazing blessed and grateful for that. But because of the suddenness and the closeness we have, my soul felt like it was ripped out of me. I am aching so bad. I know I will heal. My gratefulness and faith remain solid beneath this immense pain, but as everyone on here knows, at this moment, it is unbelievably painful. And I went searching for a way to sooth that pain, with God, with prayer, with loved ones, and now I thought I'd seek out some sort of online help possibly. I've never really joined any groups online, except normal social media; but I felt like maybe it could help this time.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
