I lost my mom almost two months ago. I know how hard this is. Everyday seems like the twilight zone that shes gone.

I am so sorry to welcome you because it means you are suffering also.  This sight is filled with people that are supportive and caring.  If you want to talk I will always welcome the conversation. I believe that God and his promises will carry us through this valley of deep shadow.

(Isaiah 41:10) Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.’

(Isaiah 41:13) For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I myself will help you.’

I will keep you in my prayers . . .

Missing my Mom..

A Thousand words could not bring you back...I know because I tried....A thousand tears could not bring you back.....I know because I cried....I really miss you mom, although your soul is at rest and your body free from pain. The world would be like heaven if I had you back again. You're always in my thoughts no matter where I go,always in my heart, because I loved you so. However long my life might last, whatever land I might view, whatever joy or grief is mine I still remember you I really…

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More

Being the Other Woman/Other Man

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More
