About my Loss:
My father murdered my mother when I was 11 years old. I am now 29. He is still incarcerated. He was diagnosed as a manic depressive, paranoid schizophrenic, so I attribute his actions mainly to his illness. I still struggle with feelings of shame, anger, alienation and sorrow. I have never met anyone who has experienced a similar tragic loss. Can anyone relate to this?
