About Me:
I am a 33 year old mother of four girls ages 16 15 12 and 8. I have been married for 16yrs I am a nurse tech and currently I am not working due to health reasons.
About my Loss:
On February 22 my mom was taken home to be with our heavenly father. Everything happen so fast that day my little sister called me told me ems was picking up my mom and that she was not responding. I had just talked to my mom the night before and she had complained that she had a migraine and was going to take something for it and try and go to bed before we hung up I asked her a question about benadryl and told her about a dream about death that I had and before we hung up we told each other good night and I love you. Never did i imagine that would be our last conversation. I live and hour an 15 min away from them and i drove that morning but by the time I got to the hospital the er dr. had already told my sis and dad that she was basically brain dead but the transferred her to houston tried to life flight but weather was bad so ambulance was the only other choice. When we arrived to the hospital in houston the dr. their did a catscan and showed us how much bleeding she had in her brain basically there was so much blood it was crushing her brain. Ill never forget those words as they haunt me every night we can keep her alive until yall are ready...... We waited for all the family to get there and on that night I held my moms hand and at 8:36p.m. my mommy took her last breath....

Miss me

My husband bought me a scroll with this poem on it I just wanted to share with everyone it does not take the pain away but it does help for a little while at least it does for me.

Miss Me, But Let Me Go.

When I come to the end of the road,

And the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in gloom-filled rooms,

Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little--but not too long,

And not with your head bowed low;

Remember the love that we once shared

Miss…

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
