About Me:
Hello :) im Emma! I'm from the UK. I am 24, and a registered Nurse :)
About my Loss:
In June 2010, my sister Teresa was killed by her boyfriend. Non of us knew there had been any form of domestic violence between them before it was too late. My sister had a disagreement with her boyfriend the night she died. and she had been pushed and fallen from the top of a multi storey car park in Devon, England.

There will be a lot of information we will never get to know about what was going on. She was 29 years old and left behind her son who was 10 at the tome of her death. I am now an only child.

three years on I find it much easier to talk about what happened, but only like to talk about it with people who have lost others. As you can see society doesn't always understand these complex situations.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
