About Me:
Youngest among 3 girls. I'm always the bratty sissy that only 2 people in this world can perfectly understand me when I'm in the mood to play the brattiness in me, they always try to protect me and even spoil me in any way a sister can.
About my Loss:
We lost my sister last July 17, 2011 with cancer, a rare type (cholangiocarcinoma).Everything that had happened was so sudden, she's just 29 years old. I've already accepted that she's gone, I'm done with the denial stage but the most PAINFUL process in grieving I guess is when you truly feel that you can never be with the person you love forever physically, I MISS my sister everyday, there's not a single minute that I can't remember her. We were brought up really close, we're like the best of friends, I feel that a part of me now is gone too, and life will never be the same after her passing. I cry alone, I don't want to tell people how I'm feeling because I feel that they don't understand me at all. She left us with a 6 month-old beautiful baby girl. The baby is such a joy to us, but it pains me to think that she will no longer enjoy the presence of her mommy. I know that my sister could have been the best mom, and for now, I'm just trying to be with the baby, and to care for her the way her mommy did to me.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
