About Me:
Mom, wife, daughter of an amazing man.
About my Loss:
I lost my dad suddenly a few months ago. He woke up and was having trouble breathing. He passed out and lost too much oxygen and then was "brain dead" The rest of his organs started to fail and we lost him 3 days after. Witnessing all of this will stick with me forever. We were very close - i guess i was daddy's little girl - but we were very close and he was always there for me. I can't go for very long without feeling a punch in the gut of pain. i have trouble blocking out those last three days and the overwhelming sadness it brings. I am waking up each day in a cloud, trying to be strong for my mom, but grieving silently alone. After the wake people check on you and talk to you about it for a couple of weeks but then it all goes away and you are left with complete sadness and confusion. I feel my pain is getting worst with time and i don't want to talk about it with people because i feel they don't want to hear it anymore. I feel lost... sad...pissed...resentful...hurt...but mostly lost.
