Profile Information

About Me:
I am a school counselor for both high school and adult education. I enjoy the outdoors, swimming, animals (mainly dogs and birds), cooking and travel.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband, age 48, to cirrhosis of the liver in July 2021. He was diagnosed in April and was just released to PT rehab. His liver failure caused kidney failure and he was on dialysis also. The doctor told me he was walking a very fine line and his numbers could go either way at anytime… nothing you can do can prepare you for this kind of loss. We worked together in the same school district where we met 22 years ago, so our relationship was 24/7/365… I am so lost without him!
