My dad killed himself two weeks ago tommorow and it's so hard to remember already. I keep getting little wisps but there gone before I can blink.

- About Me:
- I am a full time college student, work deli at a gas station an am a very dedicated mother. I am engaged to be married to the love of my life and even though life was always very difficult I was an optimistic.
- About my Loss:
- This past forth of July I found out my dad had run into trouble with the law and didn't want me to find out. I verified it with my step mom and struggled to find a was to understand as it shattered my entire view of who I thought he was. The next day I got a call that he was missing. I canceled work, found a sitter and my fiancé and I raced over to my aunt and Mimi. After reading his Facebook note and text to my Mimi I knew. They found him in a hotel overdosed an hour later.

My Fathers Loss

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
