- Single parent to a beautiful, intelligent , talented child. Divorced father when he was 3. Chose to raise son alone . No significant other. Totally dedicated to my son and being a teacher. Had 6 miscarriages and 2 ectopic pregsncies. Nicholas was my life. At 18, 3 months and 11 days his friend watched me leave to work, snuck in through open door and shot him in bed. I was notified at work. I had 3 things in my life that represented love, safety and financial support to raise my son: home, work and #1 my beautiful boy. In fifteen minutes it was all taken from me and my baby by a trusted friend
