About Me:
I'm a bubbly hardworking outgoing person. I work three jobs and take online classes so I'm always busy. I enjoy country music, shopping, summer, outdoor adventures and spending time with family and friends.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom 1/4/2016. My mom became very sick from uterine cancer when going in the hospital for a cat scan she asked the nurse and doctor to admit her. This was a bad sign as my mom was a very strong person and never got sick for her to take the initiative like that meant the worst. My mom was admitted that day 12/23/2015 and slowly deteriorated in the days to come. The first few days weren't too bad until she became very weak stopped eatting and was hard to understand as she became delerious. Talking with doctors the worst was determined and the cancer has taken over her liver and bowel. We had to place mom in hospice. Mom was discharged from the hospital after being in there a week and placed with an incredible hospice support team! Mom was in hospice for three days until God called her home. It was the most painful yet wonderful thing I have ever experienced in my life. Seeing her so frail and sick getting to tell her thank you for all she has done for us and having last conversations on the days she was first admitted in the hospital is something I will cherish forever. Mom peacefully passed around 3am January 4th and I miss her so much! Some days are easier than others and I get moments where I feel the pain all over again. I'm glad she is in a better place and I know I'll see her again. I just really wish i still had her here with me. My mom was 64 when she passed.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
