Draw a rough sketch of what you want on paper then go to a tattooist and book a consultation. I think they get alot of people who are all talk and don't go through with it so if they know you are serious you will probably get better service

I made an appt. to get a tattoo tomorrow at a shop that was recommend by someone who has gotten several there; it's important to me that they're clean and certified by the Board of Health.  But I was looking for some image that would represent my Don, and even tho I  paint and do some art, I don't draw.  But I looked on-line, and found a very cool image of a moon and sun facing each other, with stars coming off the moon, and rays coming off the sun.  Don was very knowledgeable about a lot of things, and he had interests, but astronomy was one of them.  We would get up at 2:00 a.m. in August to watch the Perseid meteor shower several times.  We'd lay on our hammock, under quilts looking up the beautiful sky, and revel in the beauty and amazement of the meteors.  So I feel that this image represents him quite well.  We enjoyed so many things together... it was hard to find something that felt right.  I'll post a picture of it when it's all there, and healed.  Thank you.

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
