Don't grieve alone; 14,000 members and growing
I have a lovely friend called Rebekah Tyler. We were friends for over ten years and then had a falling out right after Lily was born and hadn’t spoken for over two years. Lily was diagnosed with cancer a few days after her second birthday. She was admitted to hospital and they wouldn’t let us leave for three months. During this time, I received a card from Rebekah. She had lost her beloved grandmother who had raised her since she was four and had decided to travel the world to heal her grief. She was staying in France and had visited a sanctuary where they sold beautiful angel paintings and cards. Whilst there she felt compelled to buy an “angel of healing” card and sent it to me. She didn’t know anything about Lily’s illness. We had no knowledge of each other’s whereabouts or life situation. We had completely lost touch, or so we thought.
Rebekah felt she was sending me a healing card to heal our friendship. I believe she was in fact receiving information on a deeper level about my current situation. She was receiving my “distress signal” energetically and spiritually and since we are true friends with love in her heart, she just “knew” she needed to send me some healing.
If Rebekah could pick up my distress when she was in a foreign country, having not been in contact with me for two years, and not knowing anything about my darling girl’s illness, then it follows that we are all profoundly more than the flesh, blood and bone physical beings that we think we are. We are primarily spiritual beings clothed in the “physical body suit” as I once heard it described! It is our birthright to be able to connect with our loved ones in spirit in ways just as real as we connect with our loved ones in the physical. In fact, we are communicating with them all the time with little messages, a song in our head we wake up with in the morning or inspired thoughts of actions to take like Rebekah’s beautiful angel of healing card sent from the other side of the world to mend my breaking heart. Xx

Hi Erica
I feel the same way. My son passed just over a year ago on 12/1/12 and he was 17. I also suffered 3 miscarriages, one very late, I have no other children so I am lonely alot as I was a stay at home mom and Daniel was sick with Crohn's disease. Now I am adrift. But I have learned many lessons and had many communications with my son. I also know he is there and I talk to him but still the pain is hard to deal with even though my faith is getting me through til we are together again. I will check out your book. We all do have our own angel of healing :)
