People touch our lives in so many different ways...and not just our close friends and loved ones...people we rarely see or have an actual relationship with can touch our hearts too...as even in the short time we are in their company they share who they are with us...and bring something of value to us as they have their own concerns, hopes and dreams too.

The work colleague who shows you their dedication, committee members who have their own voice and are worth listening to, the workman in your home who ensures he does his best for you, the check out lady who genuinely asks how you are, and so many other people who connect with you throughout our lives in an important way just by bringing a smile.

We must value these people who in doing what they do intertwine with our own lives...some in service, some in passing the time of day, and some who want to be a part of something just as you do.

In memory of those who are no longer with us, but who made life a little better just by being here.

During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection.
