I'm sure most of us feel this way.  It's a horrible club WE belong too.  "The Widow's Club".  I think I'd die if my husband were not waiting for me.  The thought keeps me going.  I'll love him till I die....and even then...

Agreed 100%

PERFECT! After 2 years I feel this way more than ever!

❤️

I don't know if there is an afterlife or not, so I don't have the hope that some of you have. Regardless, though, my husband and I will ALWAYS be married. He will ALWAYS be my husband, and I will ALWAYS be his wife. Nothing will ever change that.

Hazel, I lost my love in January also.  This site has been a god send as grief groups did not work out for me.

This is so weird since I was just thinking this exact thing today. I will ALWAYS be married and also wear my wedding ring. Many people have said to remove it - NEVER.

It will be a year next month.  I still wear my wedding ring.  Why remove it?  I am still married, in my heart.

O.

Hazel,

That is beautiful. I wear Julian's ring around my neck.

Today I am having a tattoo with his signature and it will be done with his

ashes included. Nowihe will really be with me always.

Hi Hazel,

Getting a tatoo does not hurt at all, I attached a picture of the one I just had done, I also have three more, one on each wrist and one on the back of my neck. But the one I just had has Julian's ashes in it, so he will always be close to me.

Regards, Linda

Hi Hazel,

I can relate to the low days that you think you will lose your mind. The signature is Julian's from the last Valentine card he gave it.

Regards, Linda

Hi Hazel,

Sunday's are rough, we both watched football together and without his is not as enjoyable. My family all live in Michigan so diner is with Babie J. Sometimes I go out to dinner with my best friend, who also lost her husband.

Enjoy Your family, Linda

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
