All i can tell you is that it will get better. I started going to therapy and it has helped tremendously! It's the first time in my life I have done so and it had been so helpful.
I'm really sorry for your loss, I lost my boyfriend 5 months ago already and it hast been easy, but I take it day by day, breath by breath and that's how I have managed.
I keep the happy memories in my heart and mind, I have weeded out the bad memories and some of the guilt I felt.
Write anytime, I will respond when I can, I will keep you in my prayers!!!
Thanks this was the fourth death in the family since April . My uncle died on my dads birthday. He's my dads brother in law. My dad lost his dad when he was 11 from a heart explosion . I really need to talk to you.

Trey,    All of us are grieving for someone we just had to say good-by to. Cancer is a terrible disease to get, but none of us know what our Plans from God are going to be or when they will occur. I am not a Preacher but I do believe that Our God Heaven is an awesome one and HE is around us  all the time to guide and comfort us while we grieve. It is natural to grieve and we all need some  one to talk with and pray with. Lost my hubby on April 29 2014 and it seems like ten years ago. We had lots of memories and that is what is getting me through each day.  Have lost my parents, my in-laws, siblings, friends and loved ones and the love for each of them does not die when they do. Love never dies. And it is okay to talk to you loved  who has just passed away. Please try to accept some comfort and strength as you go through each day. Keep posting and make friends to talk with here. It does begin to get easier as the days go by.   Will say a "Prayer" for you and hope your days will be much better as each day  go bye.    A friend on here who is still grieving and posting as often as possible.....Blessing for you.

"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
