On January 11, 2014, my life changed forever. It's one of the most painful experiences that I've faced in my life. I am the youngest of four and my sister was the oldest. She was not only my sister but my best friend. I saw her on a Sunday and less than a week later, she had died and I never saw her again. She left behind a son, who was a junior in high school and the love of her life, Mustang Salley her dog. They both came to live we me and we managed to find a new kind of normal. I've always liked to journal and that didn't change after she died. In fact, her dream of us always starting our own company started with me making a decision to share our story through a blog that my husband and I have started. It's called EX-POSED. I created a platform to encourage others! I started a business in honor of my sister to encourage and provide hope to others. The blog is one of the platforms that I will use to do that. Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
