Joe we are in the same situation and we can not change anything. We can suffer with memories but the memories can not bring the loved ones back again. We must all accept  that ./Stan

hi stan im so sad cryng again

Listen .I have cried for two years because I lost Ralph He died next to me with two bullets in his heart and I survived with three bullets in my body unconscious for three days .We are both still here  and the crying will not bring  them back,we must accept the death of our loved one and continue living in the best way we can until we all meet again in the next life.I know it is hard for you and for me but I extend you my hand and  we can walk together until we meet the people we loved again. We will all meet again.Stan

Joe Good night

Stan, I  am sorry about the loss of your dear son, Ralph. I lost my son, Jesse, about the same time, October 10, 2012. We are still in trial.

Still working on the living the best way we can until we meet again. Somedays sort of better, maybe the raw edge is off after two years, however, some days not...

I gained much comfort from going to the IANDS web site...it is an organization researching the survival of consciousness after death...more than just from a religious perspective...some core things that seem to happen to us all when we reach that death point...

Years before I had talked to someone who had a near death experience, he was  having a heart attack, and found out he continued on...he had never heard about this stuff, just was relating his own experience to me...there are links to video and other resources.

Wishing you gentleness in the days ahead...

"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
